overall history • Born to a not-so-happy family, James spent most of his early years watching his parents fight and his mother's health deteriorate. It was almost a relief when she passed away - she had treated her son with disdain and towards the end, she downright neglected him. But the boy was an independent child, he could look after himself. So he did. Great grades despite hardly ever showing up for school, many detentions, and horrific behaviour, James was far from an angelic child.
In his teen years, James began exploring his sexuality. Sure, he flirted with the girls - and still does - but men were always more attractive to him. But when his father came home early from a supposed emergency to find his son and his male classmate devouring each other's faces... let's just say things didn't go so well. Once the shouting match and who-can-break-the-most-ugly-but-expensive-decorations contest was over, Samuel ostracized his son before finally kicking him out with a healthy amount of money and instructions to 'find yourself a job and grow up already'. Needless to say, James hasn't done either.
