Place your story ideas here. When we come up with the best idea, we will delete this or create a new document. We can always refer back to the idea if we do not delete it. (Good plan xD)
1. I’ve had this idea for just a bit, but it is a story of a person named Aamir. He’s the prince of a planet far away, and it sorta resembles Pandora (Avatar). I started writing this story, but can’t seem to find what I wrote, and also made some art about it, but never again found the muse to finish it. 2. I once created a different story, but also never really liked the way it was going. I named it Distinction, and here is the part of it I had completed:
Story Rundown
Tlilian (TEH-LIL-EH-ANN) lives on a flat world. The bottom of the ocean is covered in glowing crystals. If you fall of the side of the world, which is a constant waterfall, you continue falling for eternity, or until you die from loss of oxygen or starvation. If you go into the sky, you fly up into the stars. The world seems unreal, since it looks as if it sits on a rock from underneath, yet it has rivers and oceans that are miles deep. The world is surrounded by an ocean, but has five countries within it. It is said that ancient sea serpents live to the west, and they resemble the crystals on the ocean floor. The ancient sea serpent, Khidfir, is the ruler of them all. He can speak to humans, and does not resemble the other serpents.
On land, most all the animals are as tall as humans. There is a special kind of bird that comes out a night; a large, black and white bird that resembles a peacock, and if one hears it’s call, it is said that they will be haunted by nightmares for the rest of their days. Another species, a large cat around the size of a panther, is friendly, but can also be quite deadly. They are usually kept as pets, since they are quite beautiful and their wings grow flowers every spring.
The world is named Pryris, and the humans who live there are called Pryrisians. They’re not exactly human. They age much slower than the average human. Twenty-seven years for them is equivalent to one year for us, allowing them to live much longer. Childhood, however, is different. They age one year at a time, same as us, until they reach age eighteen. At this age, they start aging much slower, allowing someone who is five hundred and forty to look as if they are twenty. They are also taller, since everything on Pryris is taller. The average female is five feet and eleven inches, and the average male is six feet and four inches.
Besides aging slowly, these people also have abilities that separate them from each other. Each country has a different ability, based on their ancestors. Every once in awhile, a Pryrisian will obtain a different ability from their country, but it does not happen often. Aelley is known for being telepathic. The people there can speak to one another without talking, plus move things with their minds. Grita is known for the ability to shapeshift into almost anything they want to be. Sery is known for teleportation. Eplada is known for its ability to control plants and the way they grow. Joria can manipulate air, wind and gas, which is an ability called Aerokinesis.
The world is split up into five countries. The jumble of island North of Joria are called the islands of Roria, and the small island to the West of Joria is the island Tale. Eplada includes the islands near its ‘tail,’ and the small island East of Eplada has never been visited. Grita includes the five islands South of it, plus the land bridge West of it, in between Aelley and Grita. Sery is a smaller island, it has two extra island near it. Des is the main city of Pryris. The ‘long island’ West of Aelley does not belong to any country, since it is too close to the Western Serpent, and not many dare to enter its proximity.

Prolouge
Kalahar looked up in surprise as he was handed two, crying babies. One, he noticed, was holding her hands in fists like they might explode, and the other looked as if he had no life in him. His eyes were dull green, nearly gray. He squirmed in Kalahar’s arms, while the other, who was extremely small, whined and cried, her eyes were bright green. With no idea what to do, Kalahar tried rocking the babies with a worried expression. He had never seen twins before. He had never seen a baby with green eyes, either. Sure, he had seen blue eyes, brown eyes, gray eyes, orange eyes, but he had never seen green. It’s okay, little ones, I’ve got you. Kalahar was telepathic, since he had been born in Aelley, and everyone in the country was telepathic. They could all speak to each other through whispers and thoughts in their heads, and could move things with their minds, and so he tried comforting the crying twins through some unspoken words. However, the reaction he received was the opposite of what he was looking for, and they began to wail loudly. Kalahar looked up at the lady who had brought him the twins, his blue eyes clouded with worry, “Something’s wrong.”
Chapter 1
Tlilian laughed as she raised her hands up in a menacing manner, a fog rolling in from behind her. Around her hands swirled a light green mist, and it only grew stronger as the thick fog passed her, enveloping her completely. She disappeared like a shadow, and her twin brother could only gap in awe. It took him a moment to realize he should be wary of her. They were in the middle of training, battle training, and he was standing like a duck, waiting for her to win. Tlilian dove from the shadows and tripped him easily. He fell onto his back with a thud, and lay there, staring up at her and laughing in an odd, choking manner. She rolled her eyes at him. “Theo, you’re no fun.” Theo moaned and propped himself up on one elbow. “I try,” he said, hurting all over. Training always went this way, with Tlilian winning by a landslide. It wasn’t exactly a fair fight, however. Tlilian was smarter and more powerful than him, but Theo was stronger, he just never got to throw any punches. Theo was born without any abilities, and Tlilian with abilities no one had ever heard of. They lived in Aelley, a country known for it’s telekinetic abilities. Everyone else could talk to each other without speaking words, or move things by simply thinking about it. Everyone, but Tlilian and Theo. They were different, in more ways than one. Theo hated it, mostly because he felt lonely and powerless, but Tlilian loved it. She didn’t want to be normal, but Theo would give everything to be normal. Tlilian offered out her hand, and Theo was yanked up onto his feet. “I’m only doing this for you,” she said, giving him a warm smile. Theo rolled his eyes at her and walked to the wall, grabbing a bow and a few arrows. He turned back to her, smirking. “Then how about a contest?” Tlilian readily accepted, grabbing her own bow and arrows, she followed Theo to where the targets stood against the back wall. She had learned archery when she was a kid, for Theo, of course. It was an unnecessary skill, but because her twin brother was intrigued, she learned it with him. She skillfully placed an arrow on the string and pulled it back to her cheek. She fired without aiming, and have the arrow a small nudge, so that it hit in the bullseye. “No magic!” Theo exclaimed with a frown. “It’s not magic, Theo,” Tlilian responded. She stepped up to the target to retrieve her arrow with a small smile. A slow clap sounded from across the gym, and the twins turned their heads to see Kalahar walking toward them, a grim expression on his face. “You two are nearly eighteen and yet you still bicker like children,” he said once he was close to them. Both lowered their heads to look at the floor in front of them, and in unison, they replied, “Sorry father.” It was nearly robotic, as if they had done it a million times throughout their lives.
